The Oberlin Heritage Center hosts this midsummer gathering to offer an opportunity to visit a local winery, listen to live music, learn some history, and enjoy good company all while supporting OHC.
This annual midsummer gathering offers an opportunity to visit a Lorain County winery and enjoy the fruits of the earth, a splash of history, and good company. Guests will be greeted at Matus Winery by the smooth jazz guitar of musician Rich Holsworth. As the evening unfolds, winery owner Bob Matus will share some finer points about wine and OHC Executive Director Liz Schultz will present a 15-minute program about the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Each guest will receive tickets for two glasses of wine, and more will be available for purchase. Non-alcoholic refreshment and finger foods are provided, along with a fun array of items to be raffled. Cost: $30/person (21 and up). All proceeds benefit the Heritage Center?s Pat Murphy Endowment for Heritage Preservation. Advance reservations required. Thanks to our sponsors. Event Premier Sponsor: Kurt G. Sarringhaus Co., L.P.A. and co-sponsors Business Advisory Services and Cowling Funeral Home.
