Short Description: Jillian Scudder studies how galaxies change, and what role collisions between galaxies may have played across time. She will discuss her book, Astroquizzical, which was just released in paperback.

Extended Description: Jillian Scudder studies how galaxies change, and what role collisions between galaxies may have played across cosmic time. She began writing her science blog, Astroquizzical, in 2013 to answer questions from people curious about space. It led to the publication of her book in 2018, just released in paperback. Her writing has appeared in Forbes, Quartz, Medium, The Conversation, and The Independent. This event will take place in person and be live-streamed via Zoom. Register below and you will receive an email with the Zoom link. The event is free and open to the public.
